Born and raised in Westchester, NY, Dean P. Mellas, PA-C studied at the State University of New York where he earned his degree in health sciences and received his Physician Assistant Certificate. He was the recipient of the American Academy of Physician Assistants Scholarship, New York State Society of Physician Assistants Scholarship, and the State University of New York at Stony Brook Physician Assistant Program Scholarship.To learn more about Dean, please visit:
James graduated at the top of his class from the Rutgers University Physician Assistant program in 2014. James received his bachelor degree at the University of Miami where he studied biology and physical therapy. While attending UMiami, he obtained his personal trainer certification through the National Academy of Sports Medicine, working one on one with clients to achieve their fitness goals.To learn more about James, please visit:
Roya received her Bachelors of Science from Rutgers University (formerly the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey), where she studied Nuclear Medicine Technology. Roya graduated Summa Cum Laude in the Spring of 2010, and began practicing as a certified nuclear medicine technologist (CNMT). To learn more about Roya, please visit:
Krista graduated Cum Laude with a Bachelors of Science Degree in Biology from the University of North Florida in Jacksonville, FL. While there, she spent time volunteering at the Mayo Clinic, shadowing members of the medical field, and teaching swim lessons to underprivileged children. She then moved back to New Jersey in order to begin her training with the Rutgers University Physician Assistant Program, currently ranked in the top 10 Physician Assistant programs in the country.
