Many of these disorders are treated with arthroscopic surgery, a minimally invasive surgical method that utilizes a camera to look inside a joint, along with specialized instruments to carry out any necessary surgery in that joint. NJ orthopedic surgeon Robert A. Kayal, MD is highly trained in Sports Medicine & Arthroscopy and routinely performs “all-arthroscopic” repairs of many types of sports-related injuries sustained by professional, college, high school, and recreational athletes. The procedures are performed with tiny incisions, rather than traditional open incisions.
Dr. Kayal enjoys admission privileges at The Valley Hospital in Ridgewood, NJ, and Hackensack University Medical Center located in Hackensack, NJ. Dr. Kayal also serves as the Director of Orthopaedic Surgery at Patient Care Associates, LLC, a state-of-the-art outpatient surgical center in Englewood, NJ.
